Background
Royler Gracie was born in Rio
de Janeiro, Brazil. He started practicing Jiu-Jitsu at the young
age of 3 years old. As soon as Royler was old enough to compete
he started to build his illustrious competitive career. For more
than 20 years Royler has been competiting as a black belt and has
had more than three hundred matches during that time span. Royler
has won the world championships four years running along with several
national and regional titles. He was the most active sport Jiu-Jitsu
competitor during that time and has always been ready to test himself
against opponents of all sizes. A fire burns inside of Royler which
propels him to accomplish what no other has in the sport.
