Rener Gracie is the son of Rorion Gracie and currently lives and teaches at the Gracie Academy in Torrance, California.

Rener whose performances in the jiu-jitsu tournament circuit have stunned the audiences, not only was awarded his Black Belt by Grand Master Helio Gracie after winning the I.G.J.J.F. championship in 2003, but more importantly he is a recipient of the coveted Professor's Certificate also handed to him by his grandfather.
