This full time Gracie Jiu Jitsu Academy features, a 6x6 metre ring, 150 metres of mat space and a partial cage.

STAFF & INSTRUCTORS

Perth based BGWC enjoys a close social and training relationship with BG Central and Gracie Sydney.

BGWC enjoys an instructor base with an extremely diverse background in martial arts and fitness. Instructors range from former professional ice hockey players and medical students to Australian Special Forces members with operational experience in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

BGWC provides solid BJJ instruction, on a good foundation of strength and conditioning, which, coupled with a high level camaraderie, provides a good training environment.

BGWC & THE COMMUNITY

Luke’s West Coast crew are currently running a pilot programme to bring BJJ to socially disadvantaged youth. The Program sources sponsors for the fees of these youths who then enter into a training agreement with both the sponsor and the club in return for supplemented fees.

BGWC also provides BJJ and practical self defence instruction for year 11 students at the Warnbro based, Living Water Lutheran College.

BGWC & THE MILITARY

Beston Gracie staff have enjoyed the unique opportunity of providing seminars and continued BJJ training for Australia’s premier Special Forces unit, The Special Air Service Regiment. BGWC staffs are qualified Close Quarters Fighting instructors with SASR and continue to provide instruction and support to members of this unit on a regular basis.

BGWC also run combat conditioning classes to enhance strength and fitness for its members. Exercises and routines, designed by BGWC, which were included in World champion Xande Ribeiro's preparation for both ADCC and the BJJ Worlds.
